If you ever have experienced pain to the corners of your toe nails, you may have suffered from an ingrown toe nail.

Ingrown Nails
Ingrown toe nails are typically the result of nail corners cutting into the skin and often causing infection.
Tight shoe gear, fungal infection, or injuries can cause ingrowing of the nails.
Ingrown toe nails at times may present with redness and swelling around the nail with occasional drainage. These require immediate medical attention.

Treatment
Ingrown toe nails are typically treated by simple removal of the offending borders, which are performed as an in-office procedure with use of numbing medications.
In case of an infection, we prescribe a course of antibiotics prior to removal of the nail borders.
We further treat underlying issues such as fungal infections and offer a nail restoration treatment procedure.

Healthy Nails
Maintaining beautiful and healthy toe nails require some attention, and certain preventative measures can go a long way.
We recommend treating any fungal infection as soon as possible before permanent damage is sustained.
We offer antifungal treatment medications and other modalities in our office in an attempt to eradicate fungal infections.
Patients With Painful Ingrown Toenails or Infection Are Typically Seen on The Same Day or Next.
